Active Desktop - stop auto refresh!

I have active desktop which runs an intranet for our company.

It appears to refresh at random intervals - possibly based on other things you do in windows. Anyone know how I can find out/change/fix this?

Reason: the intranet uses PHP to create dynamic pages and when it gets refreshed reloads blank! Very annoying...
