I am logged in as user A, but in order to be able to execute certain programs I need to be user B
I know I can use the run as, but now I am just looking into a different option.
I have created a folder with shortcuts to the programs that user B can run. if I do runas /user:b "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" then I need to enter my B passsword and then explorer opens (and this folder with shortcuts is the home page), and any shortcut I click in this window is executed as B. so that is nice already...
I also have managed to create an active desktop item which displays the folder content (so all my user B program shortcuts) but then if I click them they are still executed as user A
the question : is it possible somehow to have this active desktop item start as user B ? (I don't mind a popup window during login for the user B credentials)
