Active Content Denied, How to stop

Since I updated with SP2, I'm constantly getting errors on Internet Explorer stating that the security is stopping active content. This includes such sites as Yahoo and Google. I can't figure out how to stop this foolishness.
How do I adjust this, or stop it completely?

More on the above posting....
I have also discovered that many of the shortcuts found on received emails do not work. They show the link in the status bar, but don't go.
