Activaing the Menu Editor in VB

Hi,

My menu editor is greyed out and i do understand there is a control/ component that ned to be installed, any ideas of the component.

Are you on your forms design view (rather than the code view)?

If you are you should be able to select the menu editor (or use Ctrl+E to bring it up).

As far as I know the menu editor is included as standard with a VB install, could be proved wrong though...[wink]

I dont know why it was greyed, when I activate an active X(cpbrkpie Active X control Module)component it was active. When I unchecked this componenet I thought the menu editor would be disabled but not. I guess my installation was wrong or any explaination.

Menu Editor is greyed whenever the active item isn't something that supports menus. It's really that simple, although simple can get very complicated as we all know. :)
