I created a document template using Word. In the document I added a drop-down form from which people can choose the appropriate response that is universal for the company. I didn't want people to edit or add to this list so I protected the document. The problem came when I went open the template to send a letter to a customer and the document wouldn't open. I determined that the problem is the "protect" document function. Is there any way around this problem?
