ACS return ringing 1

I have an ACS 5.0 periodically (every hour) extention 10 would ring for no reason.Also only extention ten when calling in from an outside line it gives off a musical type ring. Wierd!

Anyone experience this?

Sounds like the phone is staying off hook. Try swapping it with another.
 
look under #209 and see if unique line ringing is set to a different pattern. It is set by line.

Should that get rid of the occasional ringback?



 
#209 will change the "ring tone" for each line only. The "ringback" is probably another story...and I can't help with that one.
 
Hi safecam,
It sounds like extension 10 is programmed into hunt group 7. (VM) The ring every hour is the vm checking to see if the port is "alive".
Get into system programming and go to #505, then 7, and 10. It should be 2- not assigned. The only ports assigned to this group should be the actual vm ports.
