Does anyone know when the new 0x12 Station Mod will be available?

Wow that is news to me. I have not heard anything about that. I will check with my techs and see if they have heard anything about it coming out.

So do you have a customer looking for one? Or do you just want to stay on top of things? If you hear anything please let me know.

Thanks

William

I think you are confusing a Legend card with the new DSL 1600 line card that will allow you to route 16 calls thru your ACS switch via the DSL (ADSL) line. This card is truly awesome with all of its capabilities - has a RJ-45 Lan port for connecting the ACS system to your network - web based administration of mailboxes and messages - on and on - internet access via DSL can route thru the DSL 1600 card thru to your office network - it has built in firewall protection!!! only available in conjunction with the new ACS R4.0 processor.

It will evenetually be a common card to use as DSL takes hold in the next year or two. It was incredibly forward thinking of Avaya's Bell Labs and will greatly enhance the ACS in applications where a clinet only needs 30+ extensions but many more incoming lines.

We do sell the ACS R4.0 processors and can get the new Partner DSL card, but it is very pricey at this time.

Let me know how we can help.

drewmich;
Regarding the 1600 ...
How do the incoming CO lines mux into the dsl--does the CO have equipment performing that function as it does with T-1?

For outdialing, does the ACS mux them into the dsl and are they then demuxed at the CO and then fed as POTS to the PSTN?

Or is this really a point-to-point dsl with an ASC 1600 card (or functional equivalent) required at the far end?

Thanks,
Mike,

I have found out that the 012 module was supposed to be out in October but dealers are saying not untli January.

I am not aware of an 012 card - that sounds more like a legend/Magix style card. The new Partner DSL 1600 card is out now and we have seen them.
