I'm printing a report to the PDFWriter 5.0 through the click of a button in a screen I have created. When the box pops up for me to enter what I want the name of the file to be, it defaults to a path I don't want it to default to. How can I change what path the box is opening with? I've tried to set the path to sys(2023) before I send the report to print but that doesn't seem to work. Anyone have any ideas how I might change this default path through code?

Thanks.

Michelle

Thanks but that doesn't work either . . . .

I don't think you can set the default path.
It's under control of Acrobat Writer, not under VFP.

I couldn't find much on Acrobat Automation with a search here.

Thread223-63177 seems to have the same question as yours and Blind Pete has some code so it might be useful. He used to be pretty active on this forum, so I expect if you asked him he might be able to give a VFP solution. Dave Dardinger
