ACK! Where did the web go???

I just installed IIS on my W2K machine here at work, so I can do development testing on some .asp pages I'm making. Now, though, I suddenly cannot access certain websites, Tek-Tips, for example. (I finally had to get here through a proxy.) Instead, I get immediately redirected to my own IP address, where I get the "Under Construction" page. This is very annoying! How can I make it stop???
