How do you monitor bandwidth usage over time with a Cisco 2600 series router? We are going to add DSL services to a number of our customers and are starting with a T1 to Covad. We need to monitor bandwidth usage carefully so we know when to start thinking about increasing it. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Cisco should have monitoring software that you can buy...<br>
If you don't feel like spending the money, do a web search (I can't remember where I got it) for "mrtg"<br>
It is a wonderful little program that will monitor your Cisco router and generate log files and pretty little line graphs of bandwitdth usage (per interface also).<br>

It also works with other routers.
