Be sure you do not need a manual !
Also program by the rules
It does not need to work but it must be programmed like it should be !!!
If it does not work because of a bug then it is the way it is
I think they use 3.2 for the exame so practice that a little more

ACE stands for Avaya Certified Expert but it is a performance test, you do not need to be a specialist to get the credential. Big mistake by Avaya....
You'll have to work very quick and make no mistakes. The tasks are very time limited, any fault results in not enough time to complete the task.
As mattKnight says the tests are under NDA so no details here.... not from me at least, sorry for that.
You need to be quick by the book
A specialist soves problems and also bugs
Bugs are not ment to be solved in a ACE exam !

I mean, if you do not know *everything* about IP Office and networks and applications etc. then you can still become a ACE if your installing skills are good.
I wasn't looking for any tips as far as cheats or hints, more in the way of experiences that anyone else had going through the exam. I don't need to cheat. I'm comfortable with everything they have on the list of what has to be done. I'm headed to the NJ site, was contemplating Denver but have been there enough.
Congrats on the ACE. I have been looking forward to this for some time. I have installed every adjunct that Avaya offers with the IP Office. Of course, nothing ever goes as smooth as one thinks it should.
Let me be clear about a statement I made earlier; I did not mean for it to sound like I was asking for some info to cheat from anyone when I said, I don't need to cheat. It was more geared to any 'Big Brother' folks!! I appreciate every person in this forum. Once I hit the lottery (or just get a raise) I plan on donating to this forum!!! LOL.
When you go to Lincroft, look at the little bronze plaques they have on the wall off all the patents. That was neat, but I'm a geek. I was blown away by what you are allowed to patent!
I have been there for a couple of classes. CCC and Modular Messaging. Both times I wasn't able to get out and see any scenery. This time I plan on going to a few places. I have seen the patents and the huge Cafe'. The place is really nice.
