Accpac on Windows ME producing blue screen

We have a network with both Novell and NT servers on it. It is Novell 5.1 configured with TCPIP, NT 4.0 with sp 6. the Pervasive engine is on an NT server with SP2a.

When accpac runs over PSQL client with only TCPIP configured, it produces a blue screen "OE exception in VREDIR". When we configure the server and clients to use IPX (both in network protocols and in Pervasive), it runs fine.

The client machines are running Windows ME, Accpac 4.1 32bit with latest patches, Superclerk.

Hi,

Does it bomb in Superclerk or in Accpac, you can try and set the pervasive engine to use both protocols. If it is superclerk, I had to obtain a modified dll from them for a site I was running, also a novell server. Something about the sp6 on NT sets off bells but I cannot remember why. Something about needing sp5 only? The reason will be different depending on where it bombs. "DBSPY.EXE". Hope you come right.
