accounts lockout

The windows 2000 DC occasionally locks users out though i don't have a policy for locking out accounts yet on the new server. This server was upgraded from NT to W2K. One of the users i've created a new account but it happened also.

Has this happened to anyone?

Check the 'domain controller security policy'. You may need to run 'mmc' and add the appropriate snap-in, then check lock-out settings.
