In Accpac 5.3, I have one account structure named "ACC" with the segment named "ACCOUNT".
"ACCOUNT" is defined in GL Options under Segments as 5 characters in length.
Our Chart of Accounts uses a 5 number system with the structure code of "ACC" for each account.
My company wants to adopt a 4 number system and use Account code change to replace the 5 numbers accounts with a corresponding 4 number account.
How do I go about adding a new account structure with 4 charactors so I can add new 4 number accounts with this structure to complete the account code change?
