Account locked from 95/98

A NT 4.0 member server recently got upgraded to Win2K server. User domain accounts are getting locked out when loogin on from a 95/98 wks. The PDC is still NT 4.0 and the Win2K server is running in mixed mode. Not sure why this is happening only to 95/98 clients.

Exactly how do they get locked out, after a period of inactivity, a certain amount of activity, cannot login at all, more details please...

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.

Thanks for the quick reply. From what I was told, the users are already logged in and gets locked after a certain amount of activity.

So what do the users experience that makes them think they are locked out? Also, is this ALL your 9x clients, or just a few users?

if its just a few you may want to by pass the login and rejoin to the domain.
