Hello,

I've just set up a new domain for a small remote office. I have a user in our main brance who needs to connect to the remote office so they can access an application. On my remote office I have an ISA 2000 firewall sitting on a Windows 2003 Server. I've run the VPN wizard to allow connections. Pretty simple really. Currently, my user can connect through the VPN, and get's a DHCP address from the remote network. However, my problem is this. The user can't ping anything on the remote network. They also can't connect through terminal server to any of the machines out there. Any ideas? Do I need to open up any specific ports? A little bit lost here and I've only got 3 hours before I have to catch my flight back the main office. Please help

Thanks so much

If a VPN is setup correctly, you do not need to open up any ports. Can you ping IP's? If so, it could be a DNS issue. It could also have something to do with the VPN client software on the station. Sometimes it is funny about how it needs to be configured. Thats just a guess..sorry.

Actually, I found another post that I believe resolved it. I had SP1 installed on that server. So, I uninstalled the Service Pack and the issue seems to be fixed. Thanks for your response though.
