Hello all. I'm stumped.

I have a Linksys router which I basically use as a firewall (hopfully, soon I'll have another pc on the router) I am trying to access the routher's web interface via It won't work?. I know that no firewall software can be running on my pc to access the router. However, Even though I disabled the McAfee firewall, I see "McAfee Connection Network Filter" is checked when I right click on the LAN connection. I then uncheck this and I can access the web interface, however, I cannot access the internet.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can access both the router's web interface and the internet?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the response. I reinstalled the router software and everything works fine now. I think it had something to do with me restoring my xp operating system back to a certain point in time.
