Accessing PRI lines thru scn 2

I have an ip 500 at the main site using a PRI for incoming, and outgoing, i have an ip 500 at a 2nd site. they are connected thru a vpn router on both ends. they are communicating between each other thru extensions.

I want the 2nd site to access the pri on the main site for outgoing calls.

I have the dial 9 short code going to the ip line I setup.

When i dial, it says incompatable.

Am i missing something?

When you use a 9 then your shortcode on the main site must be something like:

9N
dial
N
Line id trunk

On the second side you need to send the prefix too like this:

9N
dial
9N
line id SCN trunk
