heres the situation
i have an AIX(unix) machine that is running a webbased app to get to it internally we open up a web browser and type " number), this initial port number acts as a distribution port, we have another back of ports on the same server, and the initial port looks as forwards a user to one of the open ports within that bank
the AIX machine is behind a firewall
what i would like to do is have the outside world goto our web server, click on a link, that gets routed to the initial port, which will then assign to one of the ports in the bank.......
any ideas on where i need to get started? obviously i can use the link inside the firewall and it routs me to the initial port, but the url changes from the website to the iternal IP and port.....
is there some kind of port forwarding or????
any leads would be greatly appreciated
the web server in win 2003 std all updates in place runing IIS6
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention
of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,
totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
