I am trying to find the steps needed for employees to access their local email accounts. We currenty have a NT 4.0 Exchange 5.5 server that is also the PDC and it sets behind our ISA server. Our ISA works as our firewall for now. I have read a little bit on OWA but not sure how to set up or if its the best solution. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

You can use OWA with SSL and/or allow VPN access so uses can still use Outlook/MAPI.

OWA requires IIS and can be installed on the Exchange server, or a separate machine running IIS. Since HTTP is clear text, you will want to use SSL only.

Does anyone know how to setup a pop3 server through exchange server 5.5. Currently i am running exchange 5.5, but our dns and pop3 are hosted by our ISP..We want to bring the POP Server inhouse.. How do we do that, any assistance would be helpful..thanks
