Accessing External Voicemail on Private Line

We have a problem accessing the External Voicemail from a private line. You have to dial *91 to access the voicemail. We do not get an incomplete call recording from the telecommunications provider. Please help.

We have a CS1000M SG and are using i2002 phones.

The private line programming is

Trunk should always be ground Start Not LOOP Start.

The trunk type is a loop start. It does not work as a ground start. The problem still exists

Not sure I understand your problem, but Private Lines don't go to mail. Auto terminated or DID will. What type voice mail system MM, CP ?

It appears the poster has a PVR with CO based voice mail and the digits are be interpreted by the PBX rather than the CO?

try CMF=YES in the LD14 datablock.

We tried that gene, but it didn't work. The voicemail we are trying to access is the one from the central office. I'm not sure if our CS1000M is interpreting the *91. If we do a trace we see that the CS1000M is outpulsing *91, but I'm not sure whey this is happening.
