Accessing Exchange G.A.L details

I am trying to write a VB 6.0 program that accesses the GAL details ie City, State, Phone etc.

I can get the details to come up in a window using:
objMAPIGALAddressEntry.Details

then I can manually cut an paste the info.

I need a way to access the info programatically.

Also I'm kinda new to VB.

Are you using CDO?

Yes. Is there a problem with using CDO. That is the only example I have found and I am trying to tailor it to my needs.
