accessing a mac address

i have a Wireless access point, i know its mac address but have do idea of its ip address etc, is thre any way of access in the wap point useing its ip address?

You should be able to download a setup utility for the acces point which will in turn scan the area for unconfigured devices, then allowing you to add your config.
