Accessbuilder 500 lost password

Does anyone know how to get in to a 3comm Accessbuilder 500 ISDN Router when the password has been lost.

This is an old item that is not in use at the moment so it does not matter if all the old config is lost as long as I can get in to it to set it up.

I have had a look on the 3com web site but so far to no avail!

A piece of ancient history....

There is a hole in the back of the unit.
Stick a paper clip in it and angle it.
The hole lines up with a pair of jumper pins.
If you bridge the 2 pins with a metal object with the unit powered up, the config (and password) is wiped out.

Symptom Password has been lost
Cause Problem caused when user inputs wrong password more than 3 times.
Fix To fix the problem:
Requirements:
- Read the full document before you start.
- The Office Connect Remote 5xx unit of which the password is lost.
- A VT-100 (or equivalent) terminal emulation, for example use Hyper Terminal, to get to Hyper Terminal go to START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES> HYPER TERMINAL)
IMPORTANT NOTE
The total configuration, that means all settings like name, numbers, routes, etc. , will be lost.
Power on the Office Connect Remote 5xx unit with the reset button depressed, and then release after the lights have flashed.
On the terminal screen the following text will be displayed:

After a short while the following text will appear on the terminal screen:

OCR BOOT x
(c) 3Com-Sonix

All Tests Passed
Press for Loader
At this moment the reset button has to be pressed again (and released). If this is done on the right moment, the following text will appear on the terminal screen:

OCR BOOT x
(c) 3Com-Sonix

All Tests Passed
Press for Loader
------------------
Loading ...
------------------
OCR LOAD x
(c) 3Com-Sonix
After pressing the ENTER key on the terminal keyboard, the following menu will appear on the terminal screen:
OCR LOAD x
1. Remote Load Code
2. Remote Load Boot
3. Remote Load Data
4. Erase Data
5. Cancel
Choose option Erase Data.
This means that the configuration, including the password, is being erased now.
The Office Connect Remote 5xx unit has to be powered off and on and should be accessible again with the default password: PASSWORD (case sensitive!).
