Access XP and Windows 98

Hi,
I have developed and Access Project front end for a SQL Server backend db (adp format).
My problem is mainly with the machines that run on Windows 98; access frequntly gives errors on those machines and shuts down.

Is there any updates or batches that have to be installed on Windows 98 machines when you install XP Office components?

Not that I know of. Installing Office XP on a windows 98 O/S is not a problem by itself. I have been running Office XP, Office 2000 and Office 97 on a Windows 98SE operating system for over 2 years, and have not encountered any problems.

Other things which could cause problems are mainly hardware related, and include the amount of available RAM (minimum 128Mb), the NIC transfer speed, etc
