Muhoy, to all...

I searched the FAQ and such for this and found nothing, but maybe I didn't search hard enough so apologies if this one's been addressed recently...I've not been around for a bit.

I'm working Quark on an ancient PC, and I've got this 124-page catalog that for whatever reason, every time I attempt to 'Collect for Output,' it shuts Quark down because of an application error. Exactly what the box that pops up says is as follows:

Dr. Watson for Windows NT
An application error occured and an application error log is being generated.
QuarkXPress.exe
Exception: access violation (0xc0000005), Address: 0x77fd7d4b1

Apologies again if this an uneducated query, but it's confounding me because it's never been a problem that I'd ran into before, and I've run into a lot of them. Any clues on how to fix this, or what the problem might be?

All help is graciously appreciated.

Check your picture usage and update pics. It'll probably do the same thing. If so, update them one by one until you find the problem and bin that pic and bring it in again.

Too long a file name could also be the problem! Let freedom ring!
