Hello All,
In reality how much of an effort it is to convert applications built using VB/Access technology to VB/SQL Server.

What all things needs to be taken care of during conversion.
Is it too complex to do the conversion itself.

Please advice.

The amount of effort will depend on how complex the Access database is.

If it's a fairly straight forward database and all the database code that VB is executing the SQL complaint then it should be fairly easy.
