I need to copy an Access table into an Oracle database. How can I do this? The only way I know of is to create a SQL file which would run the CREATE TABLE and all the INSERT INTO statements. This is probably the easiest way, but there's only one problem: I don't know if Access will do that.

Does anyone know of another and/or better way to do this?

Thanks in advance. ~[ cid ]~

I've done in the past by selecting the table then Exporting to an ODBC Source that was configured for Oracle. One word of caution though - make sure there are no strange characters or spaces in the field names that Oracle will not like. Also-- Bog one is to make sure all field name are completly UPPER Case. It is very simple and no coding involved provided that u have all the access/rights setup via ORacle to create a table. htwh.. Steve Medvid
