Access97 application connecting to Oracle 7.3
database using odbc ....The Microsoft for Oracle
odbc driver is installed ...The links to the Oracle
tables have been established however I keep
getting the Microsoft to Oracle logon screen ....
1) How can I avoid that and pass the passord to the logon screen so that the screen doesnt appear and logon to Oracle
is transparent....

2).Also how can I eliminate the msg that
says ur about to make a action query and change to ur tables

thanks

Hiya,

1.When you set the links up, one of the options is to save the Oracle password. If you check this box, your Oracle password is encrypted and the log-on to Oracle is seamless.

2.When you write a macro, you need to use the command SET WARNINGS OFF.
