Access To Elemnts On Other Target

Hi people!

I have in a window program with to frames: menu and workarea.
How I could access from the workarea to the elements values (like a text object) that are in the other target(menu).

Or may be you can help me a little more...

All of that it´s to simulate a session variable, because I'm programing in esp and it haven´t session variables like asp or php... so i need to simulate the session variables to keep the user session. Exists some js session variable that i can set without asp, or php...u know...in pure jscript?

How can i set a session variables in pure js?
How can i get the value of a session variable?

one other thing

js (hopefully meaning javascript) has no control or functionality over the server values or objects like session variables so to answer that question .. No! you can't do that

I know that my questions are not too dificults, but like i said the technology that i'm using isn´t standar too.
Yes! exists esp (erlang server pages) that are server by the own web server of erlang plataform. The erlang plataform (it's open source since 1996 i guess) it´s a ericsson telephone plataform. Erlang it's a functional lenguage based in concurrency source, that works with his own db system called mnesia and have his own webserver similar to an apache web server. It´s very powerfull to develop telephones realtime systems. The esp let you to put embebbed erlang source (like i said erlang is a functional lenguage so you don´t have iterative controls like for, while, loop, and things like that) in html pages. It´s very intersting technology but some times you are over the conventional world and do it some much intersting. If you still intersting then visit
