Access to catalog file. . .catmedia.cpp(1544)

I just noticed the following event in the event log on my backup server:

Access to catalog file C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT\Catalogs\{C1FBBC3E-184D-4866-B1C1-8D79C6FF2869}.U01 failed.
Reason: The volume for a file has been externally altered such that the
opened file is no longer valid.
d:\be\rabi\3808r\becat\server\catmedia.cpp(1544)

I haven't been able to find much useful information in the Veritas KB and was wondering if anyone else has seen this?

Did you find out what was causing this? My backups work ok, but I get this error also.
