I have an Access DB on my server and is working fine. I need to create some clients in order to work several pc's at the same time, but qhen I create a new Access file on each pc and import all the itens but the tables, wich I connect, I have some problems viewing some reports. Any idea?!?!?!

Thanx

Marco

Too much network traffic, possibly? What about the record source properties of the reports giving trouble? Do they know where their tables are?

Generically, odds are, problem is not on server, so it is either network or desktop.

Try creating new database with connections to server on your own desktop first, and then import your queries/reports and other objects, and then confirm they work.

Then copy from your hard drive to disk/cd and then transfer it to the other person's hard drive and see if it works.

If this works, you may want to check version / service pack levels on both desktops.

If you have separate security for the database then you should check with the target user logged on, as there may be security issues around 1 or more tables being accessed.

I know this is pretty basic, but I still find that when something does not work, far too often, I just need to plug it in. Good luck

There's no too much traffic on that netowrk and no security levels on DB.
