-information can be alphanumeric(i.e. A1B 2C4) and numeric(12345-6789)

Question: How can I select (query) records with alphanumeric information?

In the Criteria cell for the column put:
Like "*[a-z]*

THAT DID NOT WORK. I DID ADD Like "*[a-z]*" ON CELL AND STILL DID NOT SELECT THE CANADIAN ZIP CODES.
