Is there a pocket PC that can run my Access database so I can enter data in the field and download it later?

I've looked around but I can't find any.

Thanks

xeb,

There isn't a PocketPC version of MS Access.

Here is a little background on that fact -

Now the good news. There are third party applications that will allow you to work with your Access data.

Here is some information about biomobility's Data On The Run.

Most Pocket PC's run a stripped down version of Excel. Create and Excel form to input the data, upload to your PC andf import directly to access. I assume it doesn't make a difference how you capture your data as long as you can sotre it in Access.

There are other third party apps that will read a .cdb which is the .mdb converted for the PocketPC to read. I like to use Sprint DB Pro There is also HanDBase Both of these will allow you to create forms to use on the PPC. And when you sync, your Access database will be updated. It has been a while since I have used Sprint DB to update an access db, but I have done it in the past. Sprint DB Pro even has a desk top version so you can build your forms on the PC and export them to the PPC.
