Access page breaking question

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I have a large Access report grouped by vendor. It lists the Vendor name and address info then lists all dates and checks written to the vendor.

I would like to break the pages so that a vendor won't be broken between pages (unless of course that vendor's transactions are longer than a single page)

I don't want to page break after each vendor...I know how to do that. I just want to tell it "if the vendor won't fit on the remainder of this page...start on the next page".

I hope i'm not being too confusing here! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In design view. I think...

View-Sorting and Grouping.
Choose Vendor.
See if you've got some setting that's forcing the page break there.

Sorry--I cannot envision that dialog right now, but I'm pretty sure that's what you need. Unless someone inserted a page break in the report design area itself, like just below the detail for the vendor. Anne Troy
