Got an access FE/linked tables to a SQL BE running across ad VPN T1 at server end and Cable at my home where I am testing the FE. When I am local to the network it runs fine. But across the net it has a 30-40 second lag when I open or go to the next/previous record. I was wondering what suggestions there would be to optomize this and get it down to something a bit better...

I have a form with a tab box with multiple subforms...
maybe 150 controls total between all forms opening/changing. All forms are bound forms.

thanks

Mustangcoupe,

I'm having the same issue as you have...

Even on my first form (only 2 fields) it is already dramatically slow)

If you should have a solution to this slow datalink, feel free to share it with me.

Kind regards,

Peter
