I was hoping someone with Access experience could maybe point me in the right direction. :)

I know this is a very general question and will try to research the thread as much I can.

But we have an upcoming weekend event with passes available to be purchased online.

As the tickets are sold on-line, I would like to bar code and datebase each ticket before mailing them the buyer.

What steps would I take in creating an Access data base to read the bar code and pull up the events?

-So when a person comes to the event and present's their pre-paid pass, the barcode can simply be scanned and pull up from the data base all the events that they paid for online.

We have 5 events with 3 diffrent ticket prices.

Which barcode would be best to use and what would be the best steps to begin to build a data base?

I thank u in advance! :)
