I've had my Access files updated at work and previously when using access I'd be prompted for a password. Now this screen is missing and I can't use the programmers level password I need.

I think the problem is that I'm now logging on as Admin automatically - apparently this means you're not prompted for a password.

I just can't find a way to log on as someone else - and Access Help is useless.

Please help!

You must either locate the workgroup file (.mdw) you were using before or you will have to create a new one using EXACTLY the same usernames and PID values that was used to create the original.
If you think you have the correct workgroup file then you need to set a password for the admin user to force the login prompt to appear.

Indeed, the Access help file is useless, because they put most of this info out on an MSDN KB article:

Read up on this and you'll understand all the quirkiness of it, amd all the stuff that's happening in the background, semi-invisible.
