First off I have virtually no experience in Access so type slowly so I can understand. :)

I am responsible for developing calendars for all the sports teams and clubs at our school. There are about 24 teams. Some teams consist of up to 3 parts; Varsity, JV, Freshman.

Each team generates it's own calendar right now using whatever format the coach or club officers decide on. I am trying to standardize a method to help combine the calendars for the school.

I need to have an imput form that all the teams can use. Fields need to be: Team, Day, Date, Time, Opponent, Home or Away, Location.

I then need to produce individual team calendars (printed) for each team. I need to produce a calendar (printed) which includes all teams calendars and then I need to create a comma delimited file to include the following fields:
Title; (Team name, Home or Away, Opponent)
Description; (Time, Location)
Date (yyyymmdd)

Is there anywhere I can go to download predeveloped databases that I could use that would do this? Or any other suggestions appreciated. Unfortunately I do not have a lot of time to learn Access so I can do this myself.

Thanks

Good News! --- What you would like to accompolish can be done in Access.

Bad Good News ----- to the best of my knowledge there are no templates, ie, databases, that you can download for free. If time is of the essence, then you will have to buy something. If you were to create your own the knowledge and experience will be invaluable.

If your decision is to make your own database, your best bet would be to ask one question at a time.

If I had to buy something, what would you recommend? Obviuosly I would like to find something that I could modify for my use but buying is possible.

I don't need a lot of bells & whistles. Plain ans simple would be great.

Thanks

Unfortunately, I have never purchased a program such as you might need, therefore, I would not know what to suggest. Hopefully, someone else on this board can be more helpful.

Good Luck!!

Thanks

Anyone else out there with a suggestion?

Seems like a nice program but it does not have a way to output to a comma delimited file which I must have.
