I just had my computer upgraded at work, and I think it's related to this problem.

When I try to import a table into Access from Excel or Text file, I get an import Wizard error message "There is no object in this control" and can't continue to import.

Anybody know how to fix this?

It always helps if you mention Version and platform.

Will you please check to see if you have mscal.ocx on your system? If not you need to get one and install it. If there is one see if re-registering helps.

Hi XLhelp,

Fixed. Turns out I needed to run a repair on Microsoft Office.
