Hi,

Got a strange one here that i hope one of you might be able to help me with.
Running a FTP Server and two Zip files copied onto it, we cannot delete. We've tried to delete it locally, take ownership and every other possible scenario but we cannot delete, copy, cut, even see the permission of these files. We always get the message "access denied"!
Any help would really be appreciated.

Also we have got full admin rights on the Server.

Thanks in advance.

Are the files stored on a seperate partition, and what OS are you running.

Ok I guess NT4.0 by any chance, sorry about that!!!

Try a reboot. If that doesn't work try to delete them through DOS using NTFS_Pro,

Or a similar utility.

Here's an idea. Try logging on to the ftp server as an administrator. I'm not talking about logging onto the OS, just ftp to the server if you catch my meaning.
Just an idea. Might be futile. ________________________________________
