I have Exchange 5.5 running on w2k. Originally it was not part of the domain. Now that it is a member, the Administrator account does not have access to group policy settings. Specifically, I am not able to install service Pack 3. How do I remedy this problem? Thanks.

What administrator account are you using? The enterprise Administrator acount, other inclused in Domain Admin, or local?
MAybe there are policies applying to your account, to disable you of installing Software or to modifying group policies. A+, MCP, CCNA

koquito,

I am logged on as domain administrator. This account does not have permissions. Thinking should remove from the domain to apply the service pack. Must be a better way though.

well if no-one else can give you the rights to do it; yes, i agree with you A+, MCP, CCNA
