Access Database

I have created an access datatbase for 2005. Now that's it's 2006 I want to move all the data. I want to be able to group all of 2005 data together. And, start storing 2006's data in the system. Can this be done? And, if I do a query can I have it include 2005 data?

Couple different options. #1. Create a year field on your current table and then just query for the year you want when you do your reports. #2. Create another new table for 2006 mirroring all the same fields as your last database..

This is all I really can offer given the amount of info your offered.... not much.

do you want to copy a "database" or "table" within a database?
to copy or "archive" 2005 table within a tatabase, do something similar to what hidden says or
right click on 2005 table and click copy
then move to a blank area of the table listings and right click, choosing paste
then right click on the new copy, and rename it 2006.
then go back inside 2006 table, and delete all entries. this will give you the structure, but not the data.
you will have entries for tbl2005, and tbl2006.

if you wanna copy a database, just right click on database name and copy and paste it somewhere, with 2005 tacked to the end of it.
am i understanding you correctly?
can you please be more specific?
you can constuct queries to do the first one too.
