Access Crashes When Filtering a SubForm
I am running MS Access 97 SR-2. I have a form, which has a SubForm of a query view. I have controls on the form that let me select criteria that alters the records shown in the view by changing the RecordSource of the SubForm, which works without incident. Before I touch those controls to change the RecordSource on the SubForm, I can filter on records without any problem. However, when I try to filter on one of the records after using the selection controls, I get blown out of Access with the following message:
The instruction at “0x04041429” referenced memory at “0x469c6284”. The memory could not be “read”.
Click on OK to terminate the application
Click on CANCEL to debug the application
Has anyone experienced this problem before and found a work around for it? It seems like you should be able to do this without being blown out of the program. Any help on troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated.
