Hi,

Is there a good place to go and research information on trying to incorporate (synchronizing data) an Access database and say a Palm Pilot, Pocket PC, etc.?

What are the limitations, storage capacities, pitfalls, etc.? Is the technology advanced enough to use a PDA and a large networked Access database?

I went to the Palm web site but it didn't answer many of my questions.

Anyone have experience in this area and can shed some light on this?

TIA

Dave, I know they recently added a forum here for PDA type devices. That might be a good place to start. If you can't find it through a search, let me know and I can research the Round Table thread that gave it's title. Terry M. Hoey

Well, I haven't hadany experience with Palms as such but I have setup Psion handhelds with scanners to do remote inspections which import into an Access frontend.

Was a bit of work designing the interface on the Psion, but the OVAL language supplied was same as VB, and worked quite well (the Psion has small Word processing, SS and DB programs on there). Ben
