Access 97 with Oracle 817 and Oracle 9 ODBC driver problem

We have a Access97 database with table called "ABC" linked through Oracle ODBC 8.1.7 driver in Oracle database version 8.1.7. We also have a query that picks id and name filds from this table. Then
We have a form with List box which displays name field from the above query.

The contents of the List box displays fine with users having Oracle 817 ODBC driver installed on their PCs.
But for users having Access 97 with Oracle 9.0.2 ODBC driver the contents of List box are displaying as garbage.( Some records are displaying correctly but after 250 or 300 records the contents are displaying as garbage)

Any idea of this behaviour ??
