Hey,
I have a form on Access 97, and a button to duplicate records created by the wizard. Sometimes I have multiple records with very similar data so this button will make my life easier. Normally the button will append duplicated records at the end of the database. How do I make the button to append duplicated records right after the row that's being duplicated? Thanks.

I may be all wrong, but records can be located many places in a table depending on how you sort the table (which field you sort on).

I sort the table based on the preference number of each record. Each time I duplicate a record, shouldn't the preference number stay next to each other since it's the same? the button append the new record at the end of the database instead.

Very sorry, I was being misleading.. The duplicated record does appear right after the original one on the database, however on the form it's showing as the last record of the database. If I close and reopen the form then everything's fine. How can I refresh the form without having to close it down? Thanks.
