ACCESS 97 Developers Kit is a pile of dung.

I bought it last year and was very disappointed to see it contained useless refernces to ACCESS 2.0, even 1.0.

I admit if you wnat to distribute your app. using runtime then you need it. If not then don't even consider buying it.

IMHO

WP
Bill Paton
wpaton@neptune400.co.uk
<a href=

Does anyone know where the 97 developers kit can be purchased?

The 'Access Developers Toolkit' used to sell for $100.00 (US) and was available at most software stores. The Access SDK is pretty rare now. Among the more valuable items included in the SDK were; a list of components that could be re-distributed, sources for the standard 'Wizzards', and an .mdb that demonstrated many commonly used 'tricks' for displaying data, filtering data, displaying reports, etc..

The contents of the SDK is available from the Microsoft FTP Site.

Hope this helps.

Amiel
amielzz@netscape.net
