What is the most efficient type of compression in an Access 97 database? I want to "compress" the blank rows.

I know only a little about Access 97.... so how would I actually perform the data compression ?

Thanks for any help.

Regards, John

There is a compact utility that comes with Access

If you open Access '97 with or without a database click th e "tools" menu then "Database utilities" the "compact"
In Access 2000 "Compact and repair"

Everyone has to be out of the database and if there is any VBA code that is not debuged it will not let you compact it.

If you have any problems with the database they will show up in this process.
If you do get an error write down the exact words and make a new Post here.
