Can anyone help?

Can you use Access 97 in Windows XP? Just had a couple of new pc's with XP as an OS and they keep on corrupting the access 97 database (working fine in 95/98). Has it got anything to do with 32 and 16 bit applications?

Thanks

Marc

I am using it her on my home office PC and am having no problems whatsoever. Every once in a while I get a crash and the system wants to send an error message to MS but that's about it. But, that is usually just an abnormal termination of the code.

What kind of data corruption are you having?

Haven't heard of other problem either.

Thanks for the reply.

We are accessing the database over a mapped network drive on an LAN. The database gets corrupt so badly that I can't do a repair or compact, i've got to restore from backup.

Any ideas???
